These are the Rules and Laws that, as Eternal Legacy, we agree to follow:
Beacons
All Members are allowed to tune beacons of Hype and/or Aman, to any color.
No Members are allowed to flip (Change one color to another) beacons, of any space.
if beacons are untuned (Grey) in Oct space - you may flip them red (regardless of your own faction)
if beacons are untuned (Grey) in Quant space - you may flip them Green (regardless of your own faction)
if beacons are untuned (Grey) in Sol space - you may flip them Blue(regardless of your own faction)
Sector Claiming (if it is ever brought back)
If we are doing an event - We reserve the right to claim the sector we're in.
We will announce ourselves and request permission with the local military factions before the event, and relinquish the sector as soon as the event is over.
Conflux
We kill our flux, and sometimes other people's flux. It is in our directive to keep the world safe from the Conflux.
However, there are times when dumping is necessary. Out of ammo, rushing to the rescue, or simply having to run.
In those cases - Announcements must be made and time must be given to those mining and arty hunting to get out.
"Dumping Flux - Call out if you need me to kill them"
"Dumping flux, Jumping in 10k"
HG (Merc, Military, Pirate)
The Only time we fly Merc tags is when we've been hired as a bodyguard. These escorts must be cleared through Command before the job is accepted.
Please note: Flux Control is not the same as Bodyguard. Flux Control Escorts can be taken at any time and do not require the Merc Tags
Internal Squad Etiquette
Squad POS: There are Squad POSs that provide utility ships and equipment for squad-mates. You are free to use the ships and equipment that is available to you.
Hangers: Please Return the ships at the end of the night - and sleep in your fighters.
Markets: Ask before you take artifacts that are not yours
/home: Feel free to slash home at any of the stations - but beware if it doesn't have refuel, rearm, or repair options, as you will come back without armor, ab fuel or ammo
Profit
We are family. Do NOT profit off of your squad-mates. This should not have to be said, but I will just the same.
Tipping: (highly suggested but not mandatory)
Tip those that help you. Period. If someone comes into sector and takes time to kill his flux, tip him.
If someone brings you something from across the galaxy or just the station next door. Tip him.
If someone points out the arty is by the gate - tip him.
Its just good etiquette and it creates good will for the squad.
